The Web Site
It’s a web site, because in the site in the form of a Blog, we talk about how MG-Art has embraced the DaringToDo’s philosophy and methodology and declines it in the everyday’s life of a firm that has decided to start from ground-up in an un-conventional and innovative way.
“Daring to do” is the mission of MG-Art, which is trying to be competitive in a closed sector of an “elite field” (Art) facing the challenge by being innovative and with open-minded. Taking a “leap in the darkness”, a test of courage to try and find success that one imagines and that one hopes for, showing step by step the process one has followed, demonstrating winning strategies and, why not, faulty ones…

Start-ups (are we REALLY an Art startup?!?!) in various sectors often have to confront themselves with competition of the Gotha, and this can be very discouraging and daunting. One may forget that even THEY started from zero, and that they too had to take one step at a time. This is where the Blog intervenes: demonstrating step by step the path that we followed. To be a model (positive or negative, that’s your choice) for who has “dared” to start.

The Philosophy
But DaringToDo is basically a philosophy: the philosophy of the importance of “doing” over-riding the one of “planning”, the importance of “working for” rather than “working in”, the overall importance of excellent results obtained reducing the costs and time of the organization the the bare minimum. To the real core.
DaringToDo means taking a leap of faith and leaving behind GANNTs and the Microsoft Project files that seem to have become the “Charlie Brown’s quilt” of the modern manager.
It really means trusting the people in your Team. It means discovering again the true meaning of the word Team.

And this doesn’t mean, of course, to act without a well planned strategy: on the contrary it means planning is the instrument to get there, and not the destination itself. And, most of all, it means NEVER forgetting our final objective: doing things.
This is achieved by totally eliminating processes and affections of the past connected to “planning”, therefore “organizing”, and yet embracing a methodology that relies on personal responsibilities for the final outcome. One is responsible of one’s own work, but at the same time, liable and accounted for the entire project.
The Methodology
The methodology that we sponsor and have decided to embrace is of simple Paradigms and readily available instruments: the web 2.0 is used like a hub, used to auto-coordinate, transport information, easing the process, programming short deadlines, and providing small answers leading to success step by step, one step at time. DaringToDo is like taking a jump into an unknown world still to be discovered, following the philosophy of achieving the final result with the minimal effort. A new firm’s paradigm that tries to demonstrate itself day by day on the Blog.
A bet that we intend to follow and propose, in the “kaizen” philosophy of continuous improvement, obtaining immediate results with the most concentrate and less dispersive effort, giving satisfaction to people whom are part of a TEAM.
We do not need Organization in the Company, but of companies that are organized.
